I spent a years researching NLP training providers. There are many reputable and ethical providers to choose from. Having had experience I knew what to look for. Here is some information you should discover before making your choice.
As you research NLP don't be put off hearing some pretty grandious claims which may not be believable, they may or may not be based in reality.
Training may be expensive, and as you practice your new talents you may easily discover it was well worth the expense and effort. My experience changed every aspect of my life.
While credentials and cost are important, don't find yourself too concerned with hiring a 'certified' trainer or saving a couple hundred dollars. We learn best when we are in a positive emotional state. It would be unfortunate to be in training with a provider who has little charisma or you simply didn't entirely enjoy their company. Beware the expert... for experts aren't teachable. Look for an adept, one who practices without making claims.
Don't pay more for certfications or find yourself too concerned about them. Many providers offer programs to 'certify' you as an NLP Practitioner or Trainer. These 'certifications' are from the provider themselves or an association of NLP providers. Don't get confused there are no formal US Government or State certifications. Currently there isn't any state or federal regulation of NLP training.
What topics are going to be covered? Is the program designed to address your needs. Most importantly, is the most critical concept covered in adequate detail?
